THE CHAIRMAN
Hi, I’m Gary, Chairman of the Escape Committee.
For most of my working life I followed a fairly traditional path, building a career across several industries including food, toys, and packaging.
Along the way I worked in roles ranging from accountancy and operations to customer care and e-commerce.
On paper it looked sensible enough.
But eventually I reached the point many men quietly reach in midlife — the feeling that the usual path no longer made much sense.
That question set me on a different exploration of work, life, and what the second half might look like.
The Escape Committee grew out of that journey.
